Touring Guangzhou

Several Days Ago, we did a group tour of the city. We saw a Buddhist Temple, the Lu Rong Si (Six Banyan Temple). Many of the babies received a “Buddhist Blessing” from the monk, but we abstained from that ceremony.











We also visited the Guangdong Folk Arts Museum, which was located inside of Chen’s Ancestral Hall. This amazing house was over 100 years old, and was so beautifully crafted, and ornately carved it was a work of art itself. Then, each wing of the home was filled with different types of regional folk art: carvings, embroidery, and porcelain.
